As we move closer to the 2018 NFL Draft, let's offer another seven-round projection of what the Jets might do, here in our latest mock draft. Could a potential Giants trade of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. impact things for the Jets? Who will the Jets pick at No. 3, after they traded up from No. 6? Sam Darnold? Josh Rosen? Baker Mayfield? Josh Allen?
ROUND 7 (235): LB AZEEM VICTOR, WASHINGTON
Great name, though the Jets won't be drafting him for that. In Round 7, you are looking for players who can help with depth and special teams. And Victor has a chance to do both.
ROUND 6 (179): OG COLBY GOSSETT, APPALACHIAN STATE
The Jets need some young depth at guard, considering Brian Winters is coming off abdomen surgery, and James Carpenter isn't getting any younger. Gossett gives them that.
ROUND 5 (157): OLB DUKE EJIOFOR, WAKE FOREST
Well, Jordan Jenkins and Lorenzo Mauldin haven't worked out as pass-rushing outside linebackers after the Jets drafted both in Round 3. So maybe they'll try Round 5 for a change, as they try to boost their edge-rushing production. Ejiofor had 6.5 and 10.5 sacks the past two seasons.
