The NBA Conference Finals Matchups are starting to take form.
The Cleveland Cavaliers secured their berth into the Eastern Conference Finals with a commanding 128-93 win over the Toronto Raptors to complete an impressive four-game sweep.
LeBron James finished Game 4 with an impressive statistics line of 29 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists on 12-of-19 shooting. The Raptors had no answer for him in this series or in the last three years of the Cleveland and Toronto showdowns in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
With that dominating win in the series-clinching game, Cleveland has beat Toronto in 10 consecutive games in the postseason, including two four-game sweeps in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in both 2018 and 2017.
Now, the Cavaliers must wait on the winner of the Boston Celtics/Philadelphia 76ers series, which the Celtics lead 3-1 going into a pivotal game 5 on May 9 in Boston.
If Boston wins game 5 of its series with Philadelphia, it is possible that the Eastern Conference Finals could start as early as May 13.
The Washington Post's Tim Bontemps has more on this topic with a recent tweet.

Meanwhile, the Western Conference Finals matchup is sill pending but the Houston Rockets are up 3-1 over the Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors are up 3-1 over the New Orleans Pelicans as of May 7.
Both game 5s in those Western Conference Semifinals Series are on May 8 in Houston and in Oakland, respectively. If Houston and Golden State both win on May 8, it is possible the Western Conference Finals could start as early as May 13.
The Athletic's Tim Kawakami seems to believe that the Western Conference Finals could start on Monday.
