The Union again look to be overthinking the attack, which bogs everything down, while the young defense continue to show their inexperience, often caught out of position or hesitant to rotate. Against the better teams in MLS, Philadelphia does not have the talent to prevent goals. CJ Sapong has proven to be less than adequate against even the weakest MLS teams. The front six did little to relieve pressure and did not commit to winning the ball. Until this whole team commits, the defense will be under steady siege.
